24 Apr UK-built hospitality tech platform recognised for transforming booking, ordering and payments
UK-based hospitality technology platform Favouritetable has been recognised for its impact on restaurant operations after being named ‘Booking Ordering & Payment Solution of the Year’ at the Caterer Supplier Awards 2026.
The award reflects growing demand across the sector for more integrated and cost-effective systems, as operators look to simplify operations and reduce reliance on commission-based booking platforms.
Founded by Jaipal Yadav, Favouritetable has developed a platform that brings bookings, table management, ordering and payments into a single system. The business now supports hundreds of venues across the UK, ranging from independent restaurants through to multi-site groups.
Recent growth has included expansion into new sectors, including hotel restaurants, alongside continued investment in integrations with EPOS providers and direct booking channels such as Google.
The company is also entering a new phase of international growth, building on its established UK presence, with Favouritetable’s platform now supporting hospitality businesses across Europe, including France, Albania and Denmark, as well as Asia with an initial launch in India.
This move reflects increasing demand for integrated booking and table management systems beyond the UK, as operators in multiple markets look for more flexible, cost-effective technology solutions.
Jaipal Yadav, founder of Favouritetable, comments:
“Over the past few years, we’ve seen a real shift in what operators need from technology. It’s more than just taking bookings, it’s now about having a system which supports the whole business and gives them control.”
The business has also strengthened its senior team as it scales, positioning itself as a long-term player in the hospitality technology space.
As Jane Pendlebury, chief executive of HOSPA, noted in the award announcement: “When cost pressures are top of the list of worries, Favouritetable has developed a solution to help manage monthly expenditure.”
Jaipal added: “We’ve always worked closely with our clients, and a lot of what we’ve built comes directly from those conversations. That’s what’s driven the platform forward.”
Favouritetable plans to continue investing in product development and expanding its reach across the UK and international markets.
Mark Ferguson, Director of More Fire PR Ltd added: “We’ve been very proud to support the team behind the scenes over recent years, helping shape the Favouritetable story, sharpen positioning and bring this latest award entry together.
“As always, the best results come from a strong product and a clear, authentic narrative. Huge congratulations again to Jaipal and everyone at Favouritetable, very well deserved!”
