14 Jan Winvic steps up to complete Buckingham Group project

Winvic Construction has been appointed to complete an industrial warehouse project in the West Midlands following the collapse of Buckingham Group.

SEGRO confirmed the appointment of Winvic as principal contractor to complete the project on the first four buildings at SEGRO Park Coventry.

Buckingham Group, a £700 million turnover business was reported to have entered administration in September after 36 years of trading.

A spokesperson for Winvic Construction commented: “We can confirm that Winvic has been appointed by SEGRO as the principal contractor to complete the work on the first four buildings at SEGRO Park Coventry.

“In doing so, Winvic is helping to retain a number of people who were working on the site, either directly or through supply chain partners.

“We are pleased that we are able to support our long-standing client SEGRO with the continued delivery of work on the project, utilising our extensive experience in this field.”
