The Latimer Arts College in Kettering, Northamptonshire, is celebrating another year of groundbreaking GCSE results for its students, including:
92% of students gain five A* to C grade GCSEs
63% of students achieve five A* to C grade GCSEs including English and Maths (national average 58%)
80% of students achieve A*-C pass in Science subjects (national average 53%)
Maths results reach a record high with 79% of students achieving A* to C grades (national average 58%)
Latimer Arts College has seen a substantial increase in A* and A grades
Principal, Ms Siobhan Hearne, commented:
“I’m delighted to report that once again we have shown positive progress in our GCSE results and are thrilled to have exceeded national averages in all of our core subjects.
“The Latimer Arts College has seen a substantial increase in A* and A grades this year, with notable successes including students Milan Caska, Rose Edgeworth, Emily Sparkes, Katie Thomas, and Ben Watkin-Wynn, who collectively achieved a total of 53 A* to A grades.
